As Pastor of the Lewis Avenue Baptist Church I would personally like to thank you for taking the time to visit our web site and allowing us a few minutes to introduce our ministry. Maybe we’ve knocked on your door, you’ve passed by our campus, or a friend personally invited you. Whatever the case, you are welcome at Lewis Avenue Baptist Church.

On February 1, 2008, I became the Pastor, following in the footsteps of the 37 year ministry of my father, Dr. Les Hobbins. For many years, God has added to the church, bringing families, young adults, older adults, moms, dads and grandparents. Founded on the principles and promises of God’s Word, each person who comes finds a place where lives can be touched, hearts can be encouraged, and new beginnings are possible. Here at Lewis Avenue Baptist Church, you will find a place where friendships are formed and people find acceptance, as well as sound Biblical teaching that will strengthen their homes and relationships.

As you look through the other aspects of our ministry, please consider visiting with us soon. When you visit with us, you will find friendly people who will greet you warmly and show you to a seat, help you get your children to the proper class or nursery, and answer any questions or concerns you have.
